Ms. Kelsie’s class had the opportunity to weigh and measure a variety of items. In Texas, third graders are encouraged to connect everyday objects with metric units such as grams and kilograms. This engaging experiment helps students visualize the scale of different objects.

Each fourth grader at Malta ISD has the opportunity to participate in the Texas Hunters Education course. This program covers essential topics related to safe and ethical hunting, such as firearm safety, legal and ethical practices, wildlife conservation, and survival skills. Students earn a lifetime certificate upon completion. By providing this class during school hours, we aim to equip our students with the knowledge necessary to remain safe while hunting.

Congratulations to Lidia Henry for making the 100 Point Club!
