At Malta ISD, we prioritize the safety of our students and staff. Several staff members have dedicated time during their summer break to enhance their skills in safeguarding our students. This past week, they earned the Big Iron School Safety Training Officer Certification. Thank you to these dedicated staff members for sacrificing their time off to ensure the safety of our school!

To launch graduation week for local schools, we would like to take a moment to honor the achievements of five former Malta Eagles. Each of these students is graduating from high school with an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Texarkana College. They have each accumulated at least 60 college credit hours while actively participating in extracurricular activities at their schools. We couldn't be prouder that their path to success began at Malta Elementary!

The Malta Graduation Walk for former students is next Tuesday at 9. We hope to see our graduates on this day!
Field Day is tomorrow! Please make sure your child has appropriate clothes and shoes. Parents must enter the playground through the gates at the end of the playground. It is recommended to bring a lawn chair if you wish to sit down.
